ALTUS -- Troy Lee Keathley, 61, of Altus died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, in Fayetteville. He was a retired police chief of Gentry, Lincoln and Elkins, and worked for the Washington County and Prairie County Police Departments. He was a veteran of the Air Force and Marines.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Houston Cemetery in Alix under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his mother, Marion Wooten of Altus; two sisters, Carol Roberts of Ozark and Sandra Cottrell of DeSoto, Mo.; two brothers, Sam Wooten of Ausberg, Germany, and Orville Wooten of Jacksonville; and five grandchildren.
