Daniel "Danny" Ray Rankin, age 62, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, November 1, 2007. He was born January 17, 1944 in Perryville, Arkansas, a son of Raymond Leslie Rankin and Lenora Sloss Rankin. He was a retired superintendent with Arkansas State Parks, honorary member Arkansas Sheriffs Association Youth Ranches, of the Baptist faith, and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his brother, Gary Rankin and wife Kathy of Perryville; sister, Regina Clay and husband Gary of Adona; five nieces and seven nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James S. Rankin, and Larry L. Rankin. At Danny's request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
