Gary Ray Morgan, 61, of Bigelow, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. He was born June 28, 1946 in Bigelow, Arkansas, a son of Oval Morris Morgan and Dorothy H. Frey Morgan. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, owner operator of a Transport Company, member of Wye Mountain Hunting Club, and of the Assembly of God faith.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Allen Morgan and wife Melissa Kay; Gregory Ray Morgan and wife Karen; brother, Bob Morgan and wife Shirley all of Bigelow; special friend, Diana Morgan of Houston, Arkansas; and sister-in-law, Barbara Morgan of North Little Rock; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Stan Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Faisst Cemetery near Bigelow by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
