Mrs. Annie Killian Died April 12

Annie Lackey Killian of Pineville, Ark., the daughter of the late Margaret and J. W. Lackey, was born April 7, 1881 at Iuka, Arkansas, departed this life April 12, 1961 at the age of 80 years and 5 days. She was a member of the Pineville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was united in marriage to George W. Killian of Pineville, Arkansas on December 24, 1905. To this union eight children were born. Her husband and three sons preceded her in death, one in infancy, Roy and Bill.

Her survivors are three sons, Kirby of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Thurman of Vantage, Wash., and Dale of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Moody of Cross Roads, Arkansas and Mrs. Faye Estes of Batesville, Arkansas; 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Lackey of Mt. View, Arkansas, Dan Lackey of Kiefer, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ellen Dillard of Compton, California, Emma Killian Moody of Viola, Arkansas and Angie Moody of Batesville, Arkansas and many relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Pineville with Rev. Neill Hudson officiating. Interment was made in Pineville Cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
