Killian Services At Pineville
George Washington Killian of Pineville, Ark. was born November 2, 1875 and died October 1, 1955 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 29 days.
He was united in marriage to Annie Lackey December 24, 1905. To this union 8 children were born, 2 preceding him in death.
He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, Kirby of Sapulpa, Okla.; Therman of Bridge Port, Wash.; Ernest of Pineville, Ark.; Dale of Fayetteville, Ark.; Faye Estes of Batesville, Ark.; 30 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Andy Killian of Calico Rock; 3 sisters, Mrs. Dora Dillard of Calico Rock, Mrs. Della Lackey of Keifer, Okla., and Mrs. Etta Perry of California.
He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Pineville.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 3rd at the Presbyterian Church in Pineville, Ark., with Rev. G. D. Short of Pineville officiating. Pallbearers were, Wade Killian, Frank Killian, Arthur Killian, Vergil Killian, Carl Copeland and Jim Dillard. Burial was in Pineville cemetery under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
