Son of Robert James & Ellen Elizabeth Ingmire Aikins.
First Wife--Clara J. Aikins.
Second Wife--Pearl Aikins.

G. G. Aikins Dies at Home Here Thurs. Night

G. G. Aikins, about 70 years of age died at his home in the west part of town, Thursday night August 31. He had been confined at home about three weeks, suffering from a heart ailment.

Mr. Aikins had been a resident of this vicinity eleven years. He located near Pineville after moving here from Kansas, and moved to Calico Rock the early part of this year. He was highly esteemed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, two sons and two daughters.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, though it is stated that burial will be at Pineville, the time for the funeral depending on the arrival of relatives.

Aikins Funeral Held at Pineville Sunday

The funeral of G. G. Aikins, who died at his home here, Thursday night, August 31 was held at Pineville Church, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with a large gathering of friends and neighbors in attendance. Services were conducted by Rev. Y. Whitfield, assisted by Rev. Hubert Morrow. Burial was at Pineville.

Mr. Aikins was 78 years of age. He was born in Iowa and the greater part of his life was spent in that state. He was a resident of Kansas for several years, moving from that state to Pineville eleven years ago. He moved to Calico Rock only a few months ago. He was a good citizen, one whose life was guided by the highest moral standards and was highly respected by everyone.

Deceased is survived by his wife of Calico Rock and two daughters, Mrs. Erma Robbins of the state of Washington and Mrs. Ruth Howard of New York.
