Married Verdelma Normalee Davis, March 16, 1946, Izard County, Arkansas.
The White River Current, Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas, December 10, 2009:
Hays William Whiteaker of Calico Rock, son of the late Henry Anderson Whiteaker and Addie Paralee Hively, was born Janury 18, 1920 in Izard County. He departed this life on December 5 in Calico Rock at the age of
89.
Hays leaves to mourn his passing; three daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and Howard Flippin of Mountain Home, Margaret and Darrell Killian of Pineville, and Gwen and Allan Rutledge of Denison, Texas; and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; three brothers, and one sister. Funeral services were December 8 at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Wayne Wood officiating.
Burial was at Pineville Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family
Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Memorials may be made to the Pineville Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
