November 11, 1906 - February 20, 1970
Samuel Olen Williams, 63 of Houston, Texas, died there Friday in a hospital. He was a former resident of Holly Springs and a member of the Masonic Lodge there. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elise James Williams; two sons, Samuel D. Williams of Ft. McClellan, Ala., and Bobby M. Williams of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Roland Williams of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. C. A. Alexander of Holly Springs and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, at Holly Springs Methodist Church with burial in the cemetery. Proctors is in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - February 23, 1970)
