November 3, 1920 - October 20, 1969
Earl Ray Fulford, 48, died unexpectedly at 7:30 a.m. Monday of an apparent heart seizure at his home on Rt. 2, El Dorado. He was an air condition serviceman for Sears. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Fulford of El Dorado; a son, Michael Fulford, and a daughter, Lisa Fulford, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Fulford, and a sister, Mrs. Ivory Lupton, both of Hobucken, N.C.; three brothers, Manford Fulford of Baltimore, Md., Sgt. Joe Fulford, U.S. Air Force, stationed in Thailand, and Gary Fulford of Lowland, N.C. Funeral services have been scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Union Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at Bailey Funeral Home until noon Thursday. (El Dorado Times - October 20, 1969)
