November 14, 1895 - June 17, 1969
Earl Foyil, 73, of 311 Sunset Road, died at his home Tuesday evening. Mr. Foyil was born in Broken Bow, Okla., Nov. 14, 1895, the son of Jim and Mollie Williams Foyil. He had worked as a labor foreman and was a 60-year resident of El Dorado. Foyil was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Velma Mattox Foyil, El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Helms, El Dorado and Mrs. J. D. Little, Dallas, Tex.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church. The Rev. Roy Hilton will officiate. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Pallbearers will be M. B. Beasley, J. L. Jackson, R. L. Gresham, J. S. Beebe, Sr., J. L. Reed and Lloyd Carruthers. (El Dorado Times - June 18, 1969)
