Carroll K. Spiller, age 77, a
resident of Smicksburg, Pennsylvania
died Tuesday, March
6, 2001 at his home.
He was born on April 9, 1923
in Gatesville, TX to Steve and
Eula Long Spiller. He was a
self-employed cotton farmer,
had also been propane gas distributor
in western Texas before
retiring in 1987, and was a
member of Russell Park Baptist
Church in Fort Myers, Florida.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
He is survived by his wife,
Glennabel Dilts Spiller of
Smicksburg, Pennsylvania;
three step children, Paul Gernold
of Buffalo, NY, Laura
Gernold of Naples, FL and
Tim Gernold of Marshll Islands,
PA; two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Geneva &
Odell Rainey of Casa, CA and
Mildred & Coy Wetsel of Cordell,
GA; a brother and sisterin-
law, lance and Lola Spiller
of Muldrow, OK.
Funeral service was March
12, 2001 at the Casa Baptist
Church at Casa, AR officiated
by Rev. Jon Holbrook. Burial
was in the Casa Cemetery at
Casa, AR under the direction
of Shinn Funeral Service of
Russellville, AR.
Active pallbearers were Kenneth
Schrader, David Schrader,
Greg Robison, Heath Robison,
Ron Stiffler and Roy Spiller.
