July 20, 1919 - March 29, 1969
Mrs. Winnie Morris, 49, of Junction City, died Saturday in a Shreveport hospital following a brief illness. Born July 20, 1919, in Magnolia, she was the daughter of John K. and Susie Green Paschal. She was a member of Mt. Pigon Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Morris, Junction City; three sons, Jewell Morris and Glynn Morris, both of Junction City, Jerry D. Morris, Detroit, Mich.; six daughters, Mrs. Jerline Johnson, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Carolyn Fields, Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Ollie Morris, Chicago, Ill., Miss Rose Morris, Minneapolis, Minn., Linda Morris and Sandra Morris, both of Junction City; two brothers, Sherman Paschal, Little Rock, and George Stewart, Junction City; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Wyrick, Muskegon, Mich. and Mrs. Ida M. Humphrey, Detroit, Mich. and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Mt. Union Baptist church with the Rev. J. A. Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - April 2, 1969)
