Anna Belle Mills, age 60, died February 17, 1947, at the Baptist hospital, Miami, Okla. Burial was in the St. Paul cemetery, the funeral service being conducted by Robert M. Reed, with the arrangements in charge of the Michelson Funeral Home of Commerce, Okla.
The deceased was a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. R. L. Mills, pioneer residents of the Dutton, Madison county, Ark., community, who together with their nine children have all passed away except one daughter, Mrs. France Vogel of Shelah, Wash. She was married Oct. 27, 1903, to S. P. Hooper of Dutton who died Dec. 7, 1938. Two sons had also preceded her in death. She united with the Christian church at the age of sixteen.
Surviving are five children, Robert of North Miami, Okla., Simon of Commerce, Okla., Mrs. Lynn Chase of Mountain Springs, Colo., Mrs. Melvin Dutton of Whittier, Calif., and Wayne of the U. S. Army. There are 12 grandchildren.
