January 20, 1908 - September 25, 2005
RISON -- Calvin Ray "Bo" Fore, 97, of Rison, died Sunday.
He was born Jan. 20, 1908, at Rison, a son of the late Thomas Benjamin Fore and Susan Augusta Fore.
He was a graduate of Rison High School and Gem City Business College at Quincy, Ill.
He was a member and deacon of the Rison Baptist Church.
He served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific on the USS Sperry.
He and his wife operated the Western Auto Store at Rison for 43 years.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Idora Laminack Fore, two sisters, Rachel Fore Phillips and Alverda Fore White, and a brother, Bert Fore.
Survivors include two sons, Rex Fore of Niceville, Fla., and Rickey Fore of Rison; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rison Baptist Church with Wade Totty and Mike White officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery near Rison by Buie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
