January 29, 1876 - January 19, 1969
Mrs. Alba Ritter, 93, died Sunday afternoon in a local nursing home. She was the mother of Lewis Ritter of Camden. Mrs. Ritter was born in Hope and came to Camden in the early forties. She was the widow of E. P. Ritter and one of the charter members of Immanuel Baptist Church. Besides her son, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Linnie Manning and Mrs. Bus Hearnsberger of Livingston, Texas and Mrs. Rilla Mae Deal of Smackover, sixteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Immanuel Baptist Church at 2 p.m. (Camden News - January 20, 1969)
