April 22, 1889 - January 17, 1974
Mrs. Mary Vance McDonald, 89, of 2694 Beechwood died Thursday afternoon in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Chambersville Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Bearden Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, J. M. "Shag" McDonald, Metairie, La., and Hugh Edwin McDonald, Lustin, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Lyons, Bearden; and eight grandchildren. (Camden News - January 18, 1974)
