July 16, 1894 - October 4, 1922
E. H. Hackney, aged 29, died at 10 o'clock Wednesday night at his home at Fayre, Ark, according to word received here. He is survived by his wife; one son, Hugh Brough; a daughter, Mabel; his mother, Mrs. Ella Hackney of Prescott; a brother, G. D. Hackney of Little Rock, and a sister, Mrs. R. D. Black of Chidester, Ark., Mrs. Hackney ---------- Thursday morning to attend the funeral, which will be held Thursday afternoon at Bluff City, near Prescott. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. (Arkansas Democrat - October 5, 1922)
