Evalena Hodges, 89, of Smackerover, died on Friday, January 21, 2005 at Medical Center of South Arkansas. Born on Sep 29, 1915 in El Dorado, she was the daughtr of Jim Tom Coke and Ada Lawrence Coke. She was a homemaker and a member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church. SHe was preceded in death by her parents; her husban, Otis L Hodges; a son, Cecil M hodges; daughters Ruby Nell Hodges, Wand darden and Nan Southerland Schulta; brothers Elmer, Holton, Ellis Arzo, John Tomas and Calvin Coke; and sisters Gradys Dufresne, Lovie Goley and Lilliam Coke. Survivors include a son, Huey Paul Hoadges and wife, Dianne, of FOrt Collins, Colo.; a brother, Paul Coke of Keithville, LA., two sisters, Nell Echols of El DOrado and Dean McCleskey of Junction CIty, LA., a special daughter in-law, Wyonna HOdges of Mashville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Maple Avenue Baptist Church with the Revs. Lawrence Harrison and J Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in Smackover under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors in El Dorado
