June 15, 1902 - March 6, 1968
Funeral services for Roy Marvin Nutt, 65, were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor's Chapel. Mr. Nutt died from injuries received when he was accidentally struck by a car Wednesday afternoon. He was a lumberman and a native of Thornton. He has lived in Camden for approximately 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Mae Nutt; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Wilson, Mrs. Bobby Coopwood of Camden; Mrs. Bill Fedler and Mrs. W. P. Bass, Pine Bluff and Miss Fern Tutt of Crossett; two sisters, Mrs. Julie Clemons of Harlow and Mrs. Pearl Ernest of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Jack Nutt of Thornton; four grandchildren. Burial was in Calaway Cemetery near Thornton. (Camden News - March 8, 1968)
