Cora M. Lemanski, 92, of Woodstock, Ill., formerly of Horseshoe Bend, died March 1, 2002, at Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock.
Born Aug. 15, 1909, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Stanley and Anastasia Grawski Witucki. She was married to Bruno Lemanski June 9, 1934, in Chicago. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Wellington Arms Hotel in Chicago and was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend where she also was a member of the Ladies Guild.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Lemanski and his wife, Caryl, of Woodstock, and two grandchildren; David Lemanski and Stacie Lemanski both of Woodstock.
A funeral Mass was March 8 at St. Mary of The Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend. Burial followed in Violet Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
