Hugh Lester Shott, age 81, of Havana, died Thursday, December 25 at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a native of Waveland, the son of the late David and Eliza McBride Shott. He was a retired Railroad Employee and a Veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora McBride Shott of the home; one son, Shirley Shott of Havana; one daughter, Mrs. Euna Cherry Of Fort Smith; six sisters, Mrs. Meda Boss of Maryland, Mrs. Bell Scott, Mrs. Marie Ency and Mrs. Carmen Nelms all of Waveland and Mrs. Alive Love of California and Mrs. Zela Frame of Danville; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Funeral services Were Saturday at 2 p.m, at the Havana Assembly of God Church with Rev. E. O. Tackett and Rev. Hulan Wiser officiating. Burial Was at the Havana Cemetery in Havana. (WWW.YellCountyObits.org,Yell County Record Newspaper, Danville, Arkansas, Obituary was published on Jan 1, 1976)
