Antoninette Preston of Horseshoe Bend, daughter of Mrs. Mary Wertz Malczynski and the late Joseph Malczynski, was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 6, 1910. She departed this life in Horseshoe Bend on April 4, at age 69 years, 6 months and 28 days.
She was united in marriage to Victor Preston in Newark, New Jersey on June 23, 1934 and to this union two children were born.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Culbertson of Voorhees, New Jersey, Adrienne Preston, M.D. of Turnersville, N. J., three brothers, Joseph Malczynski of Union Interlaken, N. J., John Malczynski of Union, N. J., Leon Malczynski of Nutley, N. J., three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Preston of Voorhees, N. J., Mrs Sophia Potash of Femington, N. J., Sister Mary David of Williamstown, N. J., one granddaughter, other relatives and many friends.
She was affiliated with the St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend with Father Venantius Preske officiating. Interment was in the Violet Hill Cemetery, Violet Hill, AR.
Pallbearers were Frank Bukowy, George Oldenburg, Jim.Scanland, Algie Fettkether, Bruno Lemanski and Fred Bista.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Leland Carter Funeral Home in Salem.
