Willie Lee Sneed, 52, of 826 W. Second St., died about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday while at work in Magnolia. Born Sept. 25, 1918, in Columbia County, he was a longtime resident of that county. He was a veteran of World War II and an employe of Southern Extrusions in Magnolia. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Relda Ables Sneed of El Dorado; a son, Terry Sneed of El Dorado; four daughters, Mrs. Wanda Sullivan of Hot Springs, Mrs. Linda Bates, Miss Janice Sneed and Miss Lisa Sneed, all of El Dorado; two brothers, Noah Sneed of Oregon and Alvin Sneed of Magnolia; four sisters, Mrs. Vivian Sanders of Magnolia, Mrs. Sybil Johnson of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Daisy Glen of Oklahoma and Mrs. Icie Cockhram of Louisiana; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Happy Home Assembly of God Church, near Hampton, with the Rev. Clinton Carey and Rev. Earl Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Pickett Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - January 28, 1971)
