Married Vera Rudine Keylon, July 14, 1946, Melbourne, Izard County, Arkansas.
Member of the Masonic Lodge.

Clarence Earl Jeffery of Franklin, son of the late Lawrence Earl and Hester (Mayfield) Jeffery was born on May 23, 1920 in Mt. Olive. He died June 16, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem at the age of 75 years.

Mr. Jeffery was united in marriage to Vera Rudine Keylon on July 14, 1946 at Melbourne. To this union, two children were born. He was a retired carpenter and a farmer. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Franklin and a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rudine of the home; one daughter, Debbie Moody of Melbourne; one son, Edward Jeffery of Franklin; five sisters, Pauline Russell of Mountain Home; Iva Trice of Athens, Georgia; Nancy Sheffield of Melbourne; Eloise Oliver of Camden; and Attie Rush of Brockwell; three brothers, Walton Jeffery of Bastrop; Robert Jeffery of Bosier City, Louisiana; and Paul Jeffery of Liberty, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Jeffery both of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Services were June 19 at Howard Chapel in Melbourne with Brother Charles Watt officiating.

Pallbearers were Ralph Ingram, Noel Jeffery, Boyce Jeffery, Jerry Jeffery, John Watt and Bill Blevins.

Interment was at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne.
