Dora Caraway Died November 29
Dora Caraway passed away Friday November 29, 1963, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Anderson at Rt. 4, Batesville, Ark. at the age of 81.
She was a Baptist and a resident of Izard County most of her life.
Her survivors are: four sons, Will Caraway of Cushman, Ark., Earl Caraway of Mt Pleasant, Ark., Floyd Caraway of Cushman, Ark., Lonnie Caraway of Dophen, Mo., seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one half-brother and two half-sisters.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hugh Cooper Sunday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Violet Hill Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery near Violet Hill, Ark. with McCallum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Paul Barnes, Sid Martin, Paul Tankel, Charles Winkle, Ellis White and Albert Glyn.
