Flossie Lorene Johnson, 82, of Conway, Arkansas died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Mrs. Johnson was born December 3, 1924 in North Little Rock, Arkansas a daughter of the late Allen Lee and Mary Jane (White) Clements. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alva Dean Johnson who died in 1984; children, Charles Edward who died in 2000 and Marie Campbell Brown who died in 1996. She was a member of Brumley Baptist Church and was a faithful Christian as remembered by her children.
She is survived by children, Geneva and Alan Hearn of Benton; Joy and Jerry Lee of Memphis, Tennessee; Carl James and Ramona Bishop-Johnson of Conway; Allen D. Johnson of Conway; a daughter-in-law, Doris Johnson of Cabot; and a grandson, Chance Johnson of Conway, whom she raised for 18 years; her other grandchildren are Gina Kitchens, Kim Sparks, Toby Dodson all of Benton; Annette Favorite, Tina Cross and Charles Johnson, Jr. all of Cabot; Eric Campbell of Benton and Paul Campbell, U. S. A. F.; twelve great-grandchildren, Travis, Chelby and Isaac Kitchens, Kristen, Taylor and Jared Sparks, Katherine, Caleb, Calli and Kyle Campbell, Shelby and Cody Johnson, Ashley and Taylor Mays, Avery Joy Campbell, and one great-great-grandchild Hallie Jo Kitchens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2007 at the funeral home.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway with Bros.Bill Sisson and Eddie Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow in the May Cemetery under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
