Mrs. Goldie Gardener, 79, Springdale, died April 22 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 17, 1899, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Davis.

Survivors include three sons, Melvin Gardener, Lawrence Gardener and Leroy Gardener of Springdale; four daughters, Mrs. Ellen Lichlyter and Mrs. Josephine Fultz of Springdale, Mrs. Irene McBroom of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Esther Hill of Wheeler; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.

Services for Mrs. Goldie Gardner, 79, Springdale were held at 2 p.m. today in Nelson Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Virgil Guess officiating. Burial was in Stuckey Cemetery, under the direction of Nelson.

Pallbearers were Scott Marrs Jr., Randy Haught, Leroy Collins, Oran Thomas, Don Carney, and Phillips Guess.
