The land for May Cemetery was donated in 1873 by Mr. and Mrs. Josh May.
The oldest known grave is Mr. Jesse E. Harrison, born Apr 29, 1824, died Dec 03, 1864 and his wife Mrs. Mary Lewis Harrison born Feb 9, 1822 died Dec 6, 1865.
