Maxine Sitton Bridges, 82, of Fayetteville, died July 10, 2010 in Fayetteville.
She was born November 19, 1927 in Harrison, AR to Jessie James Spangler and Stella Lee Savage Spangler.
She served as a Medical Assistant to Dr. Don Baker for 13 years, she was a former employee of the First National Bank of Fayetteville, Office Manager for Dr. Carson Hayden, and retired Co-Owner of Bridges Keyboard Center, Northwest Arkansas' only Baldwin Piano and Organ Dealer for seventeen years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville where she was surrounded with the love and support of her Sunday School Class Members and the Music and Teaching of this compassionate and care giving Church. Maxine was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She had the ability to see the good in everyone, which allowed her to care for and council with her many friends, and she was the consummate caregiver. Her Faith and desire to live life to the fullest made her, everyone's Favorite!
She is survived by two sons, Jim Sitton and his wife Joanne of Roanoke, Virginia, and Richard Sitton and his wife Connie of Tulsa; one sister, Helen Mighelli of El Rancho, New Mexico; one brother, James Spangler of Tacoma, WA; son-in-law William E. Hess of Van Buren; five grandchildren, Joanna Hicks of Manassas, VA., Amanda Khochareun and her husband Cy of Harrisonburg, VA., Todd Sitton and his wife Vicky of Tulsa, OK., Tim Hess and Jeanne Papet both of Fort Smith; and three great grandchildren, Jada and Ty Khochareun, and Zake Sitton. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Bridges.
