Lettie Roberta Scroggins, 76, of Salem entered into rest on February 27, 2009 in Salem, Arkansas.
Lettie was born February 12, 1933 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Robert G. and Lettie M. (Jones) Benham.
She was a member of the Marianna Missionary Baptist Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She is survived by a son Rodney Scroggins and wife Sue of Yellville; daughters, Gaye Passmore and husband Frank of Salem, Karen Sandefer and husband Jerry of Marianna, Tina Combs and husband Robby of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Johnnie Benham of Marianna, George, Billy, Donald Benham of Benton and Herbert Benham of Malvern, a sister, Naomi Burns of Mtn. View, thirtheen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Barney Calvin Scroggins; her parents, Robert and Lettie Benham; sisters, Violet Williams and Eva Morrison and a brother, Robert Joseph Benham.
Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2009 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. John Hodges officiating and interment in Levisy Flat Cemetery, Mtn. View.
Pallbearers are Jerry Sandefer, Jr., Sam Greene, Joseph Passmore, Blake Sandefer, C.W. Lafree and Paul Henley.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
