Back of stone ~
Today I thought of you my friend
And in the past how close we've been
A friend I've known for many years
Together sharing laughs and tears.
A special person within my life
A friend close by in times of strife
Someone who's shared life's highs and lows
A friend no better will I know.
Though life at times may seem unjust
It's in God's plan that friends must trust
True friends are never far apart
Together always in God's heart.
Through you I'm sure my life's been blessed
For as a friend you've been the best
Within my heart you'll always stay
And dwell forever day by day.
