Treva Elizabeth Henry, 95, of Conway, went to her Heavenly home on August 19, 2008.
Born July 25, 1913, in Guy, AR, a daughter of Henry Sims and Beulah Weatherly Sims, she was retired from Conway Human Development Center and a member of Northside Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harrell Dean Henry, and by her sister, Christine Garrison. She is survived by her two daughters: Anna Ruth Kennedy and husband Wendell of Conway and Joyce Nell Talley and husband Wendell of Vilonia; four grandchildren: Fred Wiedower and wife Joy and Johnny Kennedy of Conway; Janet Spotts and husband James, Doug Talley and wife Mandy of Vilonia; nine great grandchildren: Ginny Wiedower of Benton, Julie Kaylor of Fayetteville and husband Loren serving in Iraq; Justin, John and Jordan Spotts and Luke Talley, all of Vilonia, Colt Talley of Greenbrier, and Will and Elizabeth Kennedy of Conway.

Treva Henry of Conway celebrated her 91st birthday Sunday, July 25, among family members who gave her a surprise birthday party at Trillium Park Retirement Center.

Those attending were her daughter, Joyce Talley and husband, Wendell of Vilonia; her grandchildren, Fred and Joy Wiedower, Johnny, Traci, Will, and Elizabeth Kennedy of Conway, and Doug and Mandy Talley of Greenbrier. Also attending were Mrs. Henry's sister, Christine Garrison and daughter, Gale, of Greenbrier, and her sisters-in-law, Marcelle Boyd and Lucille Henry of North Little Rock.

While blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, Mrs. Henry laughingly promised those in attendance that if she makes it to her 100th birthday, she will cater the party herself. Since Mrs. Henry is in excellent health and still enjoys life and maintains her good sense of humor, family members expect to hold her to that promise.
