1952 - 2009
Lena Hicks Smith Grider, 57 of Greenbrier, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born April 22, 1952 in Des Arc, to William Befford Hicks and Chester Marie Bush Hicks, she was a Home Healthcare nurse and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ricky Grider and two brothers, Jeff Hicks and Gilbert Hicks.
Survivors are three daughters: Tammie Thomas and husband Phillip, Teresa Forrester and husband Richard and Alana Grider all of Greenbrier; one son John Smith and wife Tiffany of Enola; grandchildren Lagina Campbell and husband Jason, Mark Wade, Jr., Carrie Wade, Justin Wade, Nicole Wade, Bradley Smith and Bryant Smith; great-grandchildren: Anna Gibson, Jase Campbell, Blake Campbell, step-grandchildren: Jason Thomas, Jeremy Thomas and Breanna Forrester; three sisters: Kathy Smith, Ann Haley and Florence Hicks; two brothers Tommy Landers and Paul Hicks and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lynn Hill, Andrew Sublett, Richard Forrester, Christopher West and Jason Campbell, Jamie Hicks served as pallbearers.
