CANE HILL -- Sammy Ernest Napier, 67, of Cane Hill died Oct. 1, 2007, He was born March 7, 1940, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Samuel McGar and Iris Mae Roush Napier.
He was a member of Mount Pleasant Holiness Church in Morrow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice and one grandson, Ronnie Allen Rhodes.
Survivors include one daughter, Tonia Rhodes and husband Ronnie of Stilwell, Okla.; three stepdaughters, Linda Gill and husband Doug and Patty Cunningham and husband Michael, all of Morrow, and Barbara Fritch of Siloam Springs; one sister, Annis Carter of Morrow; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com. Cameron Hudson will officiate. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery near Morrow.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Carter, Robert Carter, Roger Carter, Rodney Smith, Chris Rhodes, Jason Chandler Sands, William Cody Rhodes and Kyle Dale.
