Audie Ozell Rimmer Rorie, 99, of Greenbrier, went home to be with her Lord Monday, October 16, 2006. She was born October 6, 1907 in Guy to the late Thomas G. Rimmer and Lillie M. Sims Rimmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bee Rorie, and a granddaughter, Brenda Barton. She is survived by her daughter, Wilma Stevenson; a son, Dollen Rorie and wife Patsy; sister, Hester Hall; grandchildren, Benard Stevenson, Donna Duncan, Karen Taylor, Jeanie Edmonson, Sue Clark; great grandchildren, Angie Steed, Kristi Bivens, Melanie Pruitt, Kylie McGinty, Dusty Burt, Clint Clark, Paul Clark, Storme Whitlow, Brandi Houser, Josh Houser; great great grandchildren, Brandon Boyce, Kory Steed, Adrain Steed, Kandis Bivens, Kaleb Bivens, Kendra Bivens, Michael Bivens, Cheyenne Burt, Alison Burt, Audie Burt, Arlie Pruitt, Kaitlyn Clark, Nadia Clark, Jaidan Houser. Pallbearer were Todd Watkins, Jimmy Fielder, Larry Fielder, Ronnie Hartwick, Hassell Bivens, Dr. Tommy Gray, and Stanton Atkinson.

Audie Rorie of Greenbrier celebrated her 98th birthday Oct. 6.
She was born in Guy, a daughter of the late Tom and Lillie Sims Rimmer. She was married to Bee Rorie for 74 years until his death in 1998. She has two children, Wilma Stevenson of Guy and Dollen Rorie of Greenbrier. She also has six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She has a sister, Hester Hall of Damascus.
Mrs. Rorie was honored Sunday, Oct. 2, with a party in her home. Attending were Dollen and Patsy Rorie, Wilma, Benard and Vickie Stevenson, Melanie, Johnny and Arlie Pruitt, Shane, Kory and Adrian Steed, Brandon Boyce, Jason McGinty, Kristi, Andy, Kandis, Kaleb, Kendra and Michael Bivens, Karen and Lee Taylor, Storme Whitlow, Tom, Sue, Paul and Nive Clark, Andrea Guzman, Jeanie and Bob Edmonson, Brandi Houser, Stanton Atkinson, Charolett, Clay, Taylor and Gavin Mode, Tim, Christy, Page and Drew Brewer and Lousie Harlan.
