In Loving Memory of the late Andrew Garland Green, who was born March 26, 1920 @ Marche, AR. & departed this life @ 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2007. He was the son of the late Dock & Alberta Green & was preceded in death by his parents, one son, & nine siblings. Brother Andrew professed a hope in Christ @ an early age & joined New Life C.M.E. Church. He served as chairman of the Steward & Trustee Boards, Superintendent of Sunday School & was a regular attendee & faithful member who remained active until his death. He was a member of Silver Tide Lodge #218 & J.L.H. Smith Consistory #76 & a 33rd Degree Mason, where he held leadership positions for many years. He was employed as a Carman w/ the Missouri Pacific Railroad & retired in 1982 after many years of employment. He also worked as a school bus contractor w/ Pulaski county Special School District for many years. He was united in holy matrimony to Eula Mary Jones(deceased Jan. 1, 1975) in 1939 & tothat union five children were born. Ernest Lee(deceased), Raymond Bertell, Charles Andrew, Carolyn Ann, & Cecil Lewis. Later in life he was united in holy matrimony fo Flossie Walker-Green. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Flossie Walker-Green: sons, Raymond(Louise)Green, Charles(Ceasarene)Green, Cecil(Mildred)Green, all of N.L.R., AR, Benjamin Bunting of Syracuse, NY.: daughters, Carolyn Hunt of N.L.R.,AR, Bessie Thompson of Gary, IN: two step-sons, Anthony(Sandra)Haney, & Keith(Carmelia)Haney, both of N.L.R.,AR; 17 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren & a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
