Died January 17, 2001, Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.
Son of Earnest Fred & Mary Sina Ethel Wilson Waggoner.
Married (1) Ola M. Hightower, April 16, 1932, Izard County, Arkansas.
Married (2) Annette Patterson.

Homer Robert Waggoner of Melbourne, son of the late Ernest Fred and Ethel Sina Wilson Waggoner, was born December 13, 1907, at Franklin. He died January 17, 2001 at Batesville. He was 93.
Mr. Waggoner was a pumper for Gulf Oil Company. He lived in Kentucky and Illinois, retiring in 1971 and returned to Melbourne in 1978 to make his home. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Melbourne for many years.
Survivors include his wife Annette Patterson Waggoner of the home; one son, Kenneth Waggoner and wife Joan of Belleville, Illinois; one daughter, Kathy Kohlbrecker of Cabot; four grandchildren, Brent Kohlbrecher of Lowell; Clay Waggoner of Edwardsville, Illinois; Heath and Brianna Kohlbrecher Fraine of Cabot; and Wilson Waggoner of Belleville, Illinois; three great-grandchildren, Josh and Zack Fraine and Chelsea Brooks Korlbrecher. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ola Hightower Waggoner; one brother Clifford Waggoner; four sisters, Ruby McCollum, Mable Shrable, Velda Gilliland and Macie Lee Warren and his parnets.
Funeral services wrer held January 20, 2001 at First Baptist Church in Melbourne with Reverend Doyne Robertson officiating. Pallbearers were Don Dillard, James Gilliland, Dale Kegley, Loy Dale McCollum, Freddie Shrable, and Mike Simmons. Honorary pallbearer was Windell Shrable.
Interment was at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
