Glen Marvin Catlett, 89, of Magazine, Arkansas died January 9, 2008. He was born in Magazine December 9, 1918 to Charles W & Bertha B Beason Catlett. He married Lorene Reames in 1944 & they celebrated their 63rd Anniversary June 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents & a sister, Lelia Catlett Elkins. Glen was an Army Veteran of World War II, a cattle rancher, a member of the National Rifle Association, South Logan County Fair Association, the Booneville Riding Club, the Arkansas Cattlemen Association, the American Angus Association, the American Legion, Northern Cherokee Tribe of Missouri & Arkansas & an agent of the South Logan County Farm Bureau Insurance office for thirty-one years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Booneville. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Reames Catlett of Booneville; one daughter, Peggy and husband Jimmy Adair of Fort Smith; a son, Neal and wife Thursey Catlett of Hartford; a brother, Hobert and wife Robbie Catlett of Booneville; six grandchildren, Eric & wife Toni Catlett, Stacey and husband Keith Breslow, Brandy Catlett and fiancé Steven Izell, Michael Rogers, Kristi & husband Shannon Brownfield, Michael Adair and fiancée Monica Gravagna; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey and Devin Catlett, Tanner Elliot, Riley and Avery Breslow, Brandon Maness, Emily and Rachel Brownfield.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Adair, Keith Breslow, Eric Catlett, Michael Adair, Daniel Johnson and Damon Elkins.
