October 15, 1888 - April 23, 1967
Mrs. Dora Bell Marbut, aged 78, died Sunday at her home in Little Rock 1400 Spring St. She was born in Ouachita County, the daughter of the late Tom J. and Ida Lampkin Bell, and had lived in Little Rock for the past forty one years. She was a member of the Bell's Chapel Methodist Church, west of Camden. Mrs. Marbut is survived by two brothers, Albert Bell of Camden and E. D. Bell of Washington, D. C.; four sisters, Mrs. Ed Lewis, Mrs. G. W. Adams, Mrs. Carl Munn all of Camden and Mrs. Dean Kilgore of Fordyce, and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Bell's Chapel Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
