Citizen of Wiseman Succumbs to Long Illness

Homer Dawdson Harber, retired farmer of Wiseman, died in Batesville on February 19 at the age of 59. Mr Harber was born at Calico Rock September 4, 1890, the son of Robert and Janie Scott Harber. He was married to Miss Euah Ducker at Pineville October 12, 1912. They were the parents of two children.

Mrs. Harber and the children, Lowell Harber of Wiseman and Mrs. Melba Dehls of Mountain View, survive. He leaves also six brothers; Luther Harber of Salem; Richard Harber, Herbert Harber and Frank Harber all of Seminole, Okla., Ernest Harber of West Plains, Mo., and Troy Harber of Lubbock, Texas and three sisters, Mrs. Lois Brawley of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Pearl Hartman of Bakersfield, Calif., and Miss Ethel Harber of Wiseman. There are five grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted in the Wiseman Church Monday afternoon by Minister W. D. Whitehurst and burial was in the Violet Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dyess Tanner, J. C. Montgomery, Robert Anderson, Ben Taylor, Vernon Wardon and Thednal Hill.
