January 13, 1921 - December 6, 1965
Jack Lampkin, formerly of Bell Community, died Monday in the VA hospital in Little Rock, following a lengthy illness. He was 44 years of age, a veteran of WWII, and fought in the Pacific theatre of War. He was a member of Bell Chapel Church. Mr. Lampkin is survived by two sons, Bill and Wayne Lampkin from California; two brothers, Melvin Lampkin of Camden and Barney Lampkin of Washington State; one sister, Mrs. Johnette Allen of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Bell Chapel Church with Rev. H. R. Nabors conducting the service. The body will remain at a funeral home in Gurdon until Friday.
