Thomas Felix Duerr, Jr, 46, of Altus, Arkansas died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born December 21, 1963, in Clarksville, Arkansas to Thomas Duerr, Sr and Jean Murray Duerr. He was an equipment operator for Mid America Environmental and a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Chapter 14010. He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Duerr.
Rosary service will be 7 pm today at St Mary's Catholic Church in Altus. Funeral will be 10 am Saturday at St Mary's Catholic Church with burial at St Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark. The Rev Hilary Filiatreau will officiate.
He is survived by son, Austin Tyler Duerr of Alma, Arkansas; parents, Thomas Duerr, Sr and Jean Duerr, both of Altus; sister Connie Flegel and husband Bobby of Altus; brother Eddie Duerr and wife Daisy of Ozark, Arkansas; nieces, Nicole, Courtney and Heather Flegel and Carter Crane; and nephew, Cooper Duerr.
Pallbearers will be Greg and Todd Timmerman, Eugene, Robert and Michael Post and Greg Warden.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Knights of Columbus Chapter 14010.
