October 27, 1939 - October 18, 1972
Lawrence Ellis Berry, 32 of Buena Vista, died Thursday in a hospital at Little Rock, after undergoing a kidney transplant sometime earlier. Mr. Berry was a member of the Cullendale Church of Christ, a member of the Dr. Rhone Fox and Wildlife Hunting Association, and a member of the Arkansas Poultry Federation. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Sue Landers Berry; two daughters, Deborah Dorese Berry of Vidalia, La., and Jill Kethleen Berry of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Berry of Buena Vista; one brother, Johnny Paul Berry of Fordyce; three sisters, Mrs. M. C. White, Jr., of Camden, Miss Jan Cater of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Russell Martin of Pine Bluff. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cullendale Church of Christ. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, with Proctors in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - October 19, 1972)
