B, 12th Arkansas Cavalry, at Monticello, October 15, 1863; transferred back to his original command: “turned over to Lieut. Grubbs of Monroe’s Regt. by order Brig. Gen. Fagan”, February 29, 1864; born July 29, 1831; died January 20, 1912; buried in Baker Cemetery in Drew county, Arkansas; he filed Arkansas pension application #3994 from Drew county in August 1905; occupation gunsmith; wife’s name listed as Caroline.
