June 29, 1909 - April 24, 1969
William Wallace Goley, 59, died early Thursday morning in a fire at 725 E. Elm St. Born June 29, 1909 in El Dorado, he was the son of John Thomas and Dora Viola Ritchey Goley. He was a lifelong resident of El Dorado. Survivors include his mother of El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. Zoia Hyatt of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mrs. Shirley Coger of Pennet, N.J.; two sons, Doyle Goley of Gladewater, Tex., and Dale Goley of Longview, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Goley Murphy and Mrs. R. L. Armer, both of El Dorado; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with the Rev. Oscar Haire officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Junction City. (El Dorado Times - April 25, 1969)
