Troyce S. May, son of the late James Blair May and Gusta Dixon May, was born May 21 1922 in Cross Roads, Arkansas. He departed this life on November 18, 2010 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 28 days. He was united in marriage to Hazel Dwelle on October 24, 1950 and to this union three children were born.

In addition to serving in the United States Air Force during World War II; Troyce served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. During his working years Troyce was a farmer, he operated a tire shop for sixteen years and retired from Baxter Lab in Mtn. Home. He was an active member of the Pleasant Valley Community Church.

He is survived by; his wife of 60 years: Hazel May of the home; three children: Marilyn Ruth Bagwell of Mtn. Home, Merle Edward May and wife Gail of Norfork and Melinda McCurley and husband Doug of Calico Rock; two brothers: Henry May and wife Gladys of Pineville and Cryil May and wife Peggy of Wentachee, Washington; five grandchildren: Ray Bagwell and Buck Bagwell both of Mtn. Home, Makayla Rangle and husband Israel of Norfork, Brayden McCurley and Brooke McCurley both of Calico Rock; five great grandchildren: Trinity Bagwell and Brycen Bagwell both of Mtn. Home, Mackynzie Rangle, Jacob Rangle, and Joseph Rangle all of Norfork; one sister and brother-in-law: Anna and George Kemp of Old Joe; and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers: Victor May, Glacen May and Rex May.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Monte Neal and Gale Wooten officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Friday, November 19 from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Valley Community Church. Pallbearers: Ray Bagwell, Buck Bagwell, Brayden McCurley, Israel Rangle , Ronnie May and Steven May. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of the Pleasant Valley Community Church
