Walter G. (Bud) Masterson, 36, of De Queen died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at De Queen Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle-truck accident.
He was an active member of the De Queen Assembly of God Church, De Queen postmaster, veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and grandson of the late Daniel J. Elam and the late Walter G. Masterson.
Survivors include his widow, Beverly Holt Masterson; three sons, Nathan Masterson, Andrew Masterson, and Josiah Masterson, all of De Queen; parents, James W. and Danna Elam Masterson of Knoxville; two sisters, Lisa Graves of Dallas, Texas, and Melissa Caldwell of Knoxville; one brother, Darrin Masterson of Clarksville; and grandparents, Wilma (Elam) and James E. Taylor and Esther Williams.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, at Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in Clarksville with Rev. Steven Woods and Rev. Edward Parsons officiating.
Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Daniel Elam, Johnny Elam, David Manns, Lee Manns, Jacky Lax, and Julius Mayes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Grissom, Danny Acquilar, Jimmy Higby, and Larry Britt.
