ROBERT "BOB" EUGENE MORSE, 71, of Jacksonville, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010. He was born July 28, 1939, in Beaver City, Neb., to the late Doyle and Pauline Steinke Morse. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, Mr. Morse worked in service, sales and management of heavy equipment. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Chris Willett Morse, formerly of Jonesboro; children, Robert E. Davis (Wendy) of Bay Minette, Ala., Jeffery Morse of Alameda, Calif., Michael Morse (Marina) of Danville, Calif., Jennifer Morse Hudson (Rob) of Jefferson City, Mo., and Brian Morse (Amy) of Jacksonville; brothers, Dick Morse of Monroe, Mich., Ron Morse of Brighton, Colo., and Larry Morse of Panama City, Fla.; and sister, Linda Morse Nelson of Woodbury, Minn.; as well as 11 grandchildren, Hunter Morse, Olivia Morse, Sophie Morse, Jeffery Morse, Emily Morse, Dillon Morse, Becca Morse, Kyle Hudson, Courtney Hudson, Paul Davis (Tracy), Carrie Lowrey (David); and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Davis, Allie Davis and Gabe Davis. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's, 10411 West Markham Street, Suite 130, Little Rock, Ark. 72205 or First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville.
