Flossie Alberta (Watson) Self is the daughter of William S. 'Willie' & Ruby (Coffee) Watson.
She is the wife of William Dolphus Self.
Together they had nine children.
Their names are;
Mary Ellen
Georgia May
Rhoda Victoria
Opha Ruth
Delcie Lucille
Daisy Lea
Minnie Bell
un-named infant son, still born
& Roy Duster
Flossie had a son, Rylee Bert Watson before her marriage to Dolphus. She always had something on the stove that she could 'warm up' if family or friends came to visit. One thing was for sure, if you left her house hungry it was your own fault. She loved to 'piece' quilt tops. She made a quilt top for all of her children and one for every grandchild. She would always let the little ones 'hope' help her when she was doing things around the house. She was a quite woman with a heart that was bigger than she herself was. You never heard her say anything bad about anyone.
