(From Hebron) William Fagala, one of the noble men of Cave Springs, was found dead by his wife Friday evening. He had gone to do some chores and death required his life while on duty. Mr. Fagala was born in Tennessee August 9, 1849; married to Martha Hines December 23, 1872; eleven children were added to their home and all survive him as also do 44 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In his youth he accepted Christ as his divine leader and he has faithfully followed as he read the word from day to day. Mr. Fagala was a man of many sterling qualities and always stood for right and honor and he raised his eleven children to be honorable men and women, always advising and admonishing everyone as was manifested by the large crowd that attended his funeral June 6 at the Baptist Church. Lovely flowers were tokens of respect and after a short service the body was laid to rest in the Phillips cemetery.
